Reverberation

Commonly known as ‘reverb’. A repetitive effect caused by a series of sound reflections between what is making the sound and the surrounding surfaces. Reverberation is used to create to sound of large spaces. Caves and Cathedrals are known for places where you can hear reverberating sounds.
