Chris Peters: Music Meets Science Program – After
School Programs
The Music Meets Science After School Program offers alternative educational
opportunities for grade school students from fourth grade to twelfth grade to
creatively explore science and math through music and musical instrumentation.
They learn the basics about how sound is created, electronically recorded, and
processed using computers, synthesizers and audio equipment. At the end of the
program, the students will have opportunities to present their original work
in the form of a musical performance, or a musical instrument they have built,
or present recordings of new sounds they have designed.
